Before you download

What you need

  • Windows 10 version 1809 or later, or Windows 11, on a 64-bit x64 PC.
  • Administrator access for installation and application operation.
  • An internet connection for Microsoft authentication, resource discovery, signing, timestamping and certificate checks.
  • Your own eligible Microsoft account or organizational identity, Azure subscription and configured Microsoft Artifact Signing account.
  • An active Public Trust certificate profile with signing permissions in the standard Azure public cloud.
  • Unsigned compatible software files smaller than 4 GB each, with space for original backups.
  • A Windows PDF viewer if you want to open or print single-file verification reports.

The application does not create Microsoft subscriptions or signing accounts, perform identity validation, or grant access to certificate profiles. Microsoft determines eligibility, supported regions, service availability and charges. Private Trust and sovereign-cloud endpoints are not supported by this workflow.

Install once. Prepare on first launch.

  1. Install the application

    Run the downloaded installer and follow the Windows prompts. The default folder is C:\Program Files\ArtifactTrust Pro GUI; you can choose another dedicated folder.

  2. Open your desktop shortcut

    Review and accept the application’s Privacy and Installation Agreement. System Readiness then prepares missing Microsoft components from the bundled packages.

  3. Connect and sign

    Authenticate through Microsoft, select your existing signing resources and choose your files. One file produces a PDF report; batches of 2–50 files do not.

Included Microsoft components

Azure CLI and its Artifact Signing extension; .NET 8 x64 Runtime; Microsoft Visual C++ x64 Redistributable; Windows SDK Signing Tools; and Microsoft Artifact Signing Client Tools. The app also carries its self-contained .NET runtime. Suitable installed components are reused.

These prerequisite packages are included locally. Signing itself requires internet access. Shared Microsoft prerequisites remain installed when you uninstall this application.

For administrators: silent installation

The same installer supports the established silent deployment switches:

Silent setup does not launch the application or install its prerequisites. First-launch consent and interactive Microsoft sign-in still apply. Setup does not force a restart.
